MEMORIAL SERVICES & BLESSINGS
Memorial Services
Although
loosing a loved one is
one of life's most difficult challenges, we still have to make decisions on
how to have a closure for our loss. A well designed memorial service is
often a great beginning towards resolving the mourner’s grief. It helps the
mourners to accept the reality of death not only on an intellectual level,
but also on an emotional level. A memorial service offers mourners an
appropriate place to express sorrow and depression.
Dr. Brasted’s memorial service is personalized to meet the
family’s needs, to celebrate your loved one’s life, and at the same time to
provide comfort. She believes that it is important to honor the life of the
person who has passed on, and support those who are left behind. She will
work with you to create a ceremony that is unique, caring and special, and
honor any religious traditions that are important to your family. As part of
the bereavement support, Dr. Brasted will contact you four times during the
first year of the loss, through a Bereavement Newsletter to provide comfort
and support.
